Quick answers on contracts, scheduling, coverage and reporting.
What does a lift maintenance contract include?
Planned preventative visits, safety checks, minor adjustments and consumables, plus 24/7 breakdown cover. Visit frequency is set to the lift type, age and footfall, usually on an SFG20 schedule.
How often should a lift be serviced?
Most passenger lifts are serviced quarterly, with higher-traffic or older lifts visited more often. We agree the schedule with you and align it with LOLER thorough examination dates.
Which areas of London do you cover?
We cover all London boroughs plus Kent and the wider South East, with 46 service areas. Engineers are dispatched from the nearest location to keep response times down.
Can you take over a maintenance contract from another provider?
Yes. We survey the lift, review its history and confirm a handover plan with no gap in cover. Most switches complete within a few weeks.
Do I get reports after each visit?
Yes. Engineer notes, photos and any recommended works land in your Durant OS portal the same day, formatted for managing agents, insurers and LOLER auditors.
